Honoring The Sharp Family
Justin and Jade Sharp have discovered that some of God's greatest blessings come through simply saying "yes" to God’s call. Although both were naturally shy and struggled with anxiety, they felt God leading them to step out in faith and begin serving on the Greeting Team. What once seemed intimidating became the beginning of a journey that would transform not only their own lives but their entire family.
As God continued to open new doors, Justin and Jade were invited to serve in Youth Ministry. For them, accepting the invitation was an easy decision because they knew God was calling them to invest in the next generation and be part of building His Kingdom. Looking back, they can clearly see God's faithfulness in leading them every step of the way.
Through serving, the Sharp family has witnessed God's transforming power firsthand. They describe how He took a family once marked by fear and anxiety and rebuilt them into a family that loves serving together and helping others. Along the way, they have experienced a deeper sense of joy, peace, and purpose than they ever imagined.
Serving side by side has also strengthened their relationships with one another. They have watched each family member grow in a personal relationship with Christ while growing together in faith as a family. Their home is centered on prayer, conversations about what they are learning in church, encouraging one another to trust God in every season, and striving to reflect Christ's love in their daily lives. Their desire is to continually point one another back to Jesus.
Their children have embraced that same heart for serving.
Jayden enjoys coming to church because it gives him opportunities to learn more about God and grow in his faith. He especially enjoys seeing people's lives transformed by God and has learned that God's love is everlasting and never changes.
Jordan treasures the friendships he has made at church and appreciates the people who have helped him grow closer to God. His favorite part of serving is seeing people smile, and he has learned to trust that God's plans are always for our good.
Liliana loves learning about Jesus and serving in the nursery. She enjoys caring for the younger children and says they are always happy to see her. One of the most important lessons she has learned is that, just as God forgives us, we should forgive others.
As a family, the Sharps ask for prayer that God will continue to help them grow in their faith, serve Him faithfully, and trust Him in every area of their lives. Their story is a wonderful reminder that God can use willing hearts to make an eternal impact and that serving together can strengthen both a family's faith and its bond with one another.
